Na sympozium přijede sice pouze Einar, obvykle ale tvoří se svým bratrem Jamexem. Narodili se v Mexiku. Ještě jako děti se přestěhovali Californie. V současné době žijí a pracují na obou stranách hranice. Zkušenost imigrantů a směs vlivů obou odlišných kultur formovali jejich estetiku. Jejich charakteristický opulentní styl kombinuje křesťanskou tématiku s evropským expresionismem, mexické lidové umění s předkolumbovskými kulturami. Nechybí jim vtip a nadhled.
