Students

This year 11 students from high schools, colleges and universities from the Czech and the Slovak Republic were nominated to participate in the Student Section of IGS 2018. The Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague will be represented by Daniela Chodilová who will blow her set at glassworks. Zdeňka Fusková, a student of Tomas Bata University in Zlin, will be working on her glass sculpture also at glassworks, combining it with other techniques. Leona Špačková represents Technical University of Liberec and will combine hand shaped glass with sandblasting and cutting. Nikola Čermáková will come for Jan Evangelista Purkyne University in Ústí nad Labem and will create her work by blowing glass into metal constructi ons at g lassworks. Kristína Ligačová will represent Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava using techniques of glass blowing, cutting and engraving. Daniel Báča will represent the Glass School in Nový Bor presenting a technique of cutting blocks of crystal glass. Czech Glass School in Kamenický Šenov will be represented by Anna Strnadová who will create her work in the workshops of her school. Academy in Světlá nad Sázavou sends Yana Vassilyeva who will use glassworks techniques for her work. Other students are also preparing their works. Filip Ložinský will represent the High School for Applied Arts of Glassmaking in Železný Brod, Glass School in Valašské Meziřičí sends Natálie Lehnertová and Glass School in Lednické Rovne will be represented by Jaroslava Mikytová.
